We provide full data migration, integration and maintenance support through our sister company Document Managers, which engages a skilled team of developers, architects, testers, trainers and subject matter experts to bring speed, innovation and ease of use to the data that delivers the clients’ mission.

Simplifying System Migrations

For upgrades, mergers and acquisitions, Public Sector Solutions Group, in collaboration with partners like Sagitec, works with organizations to navigate a successful transition.

Our process involves collecting and evaluating requirements; teaming with client resources to develop a plan; and leveraging proven tools and methodologies to migrate structured and unstructured data to the desired platform.

When the implementation is complete, we transfer the knowledge and documentation to the client to maintain the system. In our migration for Montgomery County, Maryland, this involved training database administrators, the server team and end users on Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.

Connecting content across silos

When software implementations are driven by a singular mission of a department or group, the operational results become an informational silo within a larger organization.  Public Sector Solutions Group acts as a “data whisperer” during systems integration, working with clients, system architects and other IT experts to create a “single point of truth” for status and results, implement data access protocols, and connect the data to the enterprise where appropriate.

Data integration and ECM are natural next steps beyond document management, and our partnerships enable access to leading ECM products, such as FileNet, On Base and Image Now.

For the District of Columbia’s Department of Employment Services, we integrated a new FileNet repository with an existing client system that housed two million records, then trained representatives from each department on the new solution. Now we are creating a searchable, reportable ECM system of archived and active data across the agency’s many programs.
